Kasar Devi Temple

अल्मोड़ा से 5 किमी दूर स्थित कसार देवी मंदिर एक प्रसिद्ध तीर्थ स्थान है। Kasar Devi offers a delightful combination of the creature comforts of a touristy hill station and the isolation that you crave when you travel into the mountains. )This peaceful spot about 8km north of Almora has been luring alternative types for close to 100 years – as a result, it’s also known as Crank’s Ridge. The list of luminaries who’ve visited, some for extended stays, includes Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Timothy Leary, Allen Ginsburg and Swami Vivekananda, who meditated at the hilltop Kasar Devi Temple. Today, the village is a low-key backpacker destination, with a mellow vibe and clear-day Himalayan views. There’s not a lot to do here, but it’s a great place to chill. And Mohan’s Binsar Retreat can arrange multiday fishing, rafting, or trekking trips.

Chitai Golu Devta Temple

 The Golu Devta Chitai,GOD OF #JUSTICE temple is about 4 km from the main gate of Binsar wildlife sanctuary & about 10 km. from Almora.Chitai temple, also called as Golu Devta temple is one other tourist attraction spot in Almora. It is located approximately 15 kilometres away from the city of Almora and is one of the popular tourist destination among the devotees of Lord Shiva. The temple was constructed dedicating it to the incarnation of Lord Shiva in the form of Gaur Bhairav. It is also believed that this temple grants its devotees all the wishes that they ask for. These beliefs of the devotees make the temple one of the popular tourist destination in Almora.

Katarmal Sun Temple

 This Hindu temple is situated at a distance of 7 km from Almora.katarmal Sun Temple is an 800 year old temple complex having 45 smaller shrines. Its one of the most prominent Sun Temples in the country after Konark.

Patal Devi temple

 Patal Devi temple (village Shail of Almora district) temple is about 200 years old and is at a very beautiful location in village Shail, Almora There are 4 natural water sources around the temple
